Today, the Purple Corn hole representatives, Andrew and Coach Hart, won the tournament. This week taught me how to work as a team member. It also exposed just how grateful people can be when you do community service for them. -Andrew
Tonight, the purple team pulled off an overall win by making a tower out of pasta, tape, and string. I was very proud because we worked together and created a great structure and won. The first time we tried this challenge we destroyed the pasta and nothing stood up. I am very proud of are team. -Will T.
Today, the purple team worked on a very messy project which required painting the inside and outside of the house. A contingent part of the job was caution and having no fear of getting messy. We worked for hours, and at the end the house was completely changed. Over the whole week, teamwork was an essential part of functioning as a team. We had to work hard to make a difference in the community, but we were rewarded as we had fun the entire week. However, we did have our struggles but we did unite to work together as a team and end up winning the team competition. Our change as a team was very dynamic in a positive way, so we experienced bonding as we worked together as a team. Over all, this week was a great week in terms of a learning process and in a fun sense. Throughout the week, we gave a lot to the community but we gained more in a personal sense. - Deven P.
This group, you will like literally be friends with this group forever. You will have so many inside jokes. A favorite of the entire D-gannon group was "That moment when" Saide (NOT a spelling error) and T's was "I hate you, I love you, let's go take a nap." At the beginning of the week, no one was really talking to the other gender but by the end we were all hugging, laughing, and of course having nicknames. I feel that we were all closer because of the work we did and the close knit Dungannon community. --T
